a,b and c are disctinct real numbers. f(a), f(b), f'(a), f'(b) and f'(c) are given. Show that there exists a polynomial of degree at most 4 that interpolates the data. Seems to me it’s an existence non-constructive proof. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
