Can anybody explain in a simple manner what is Lie Derivative? Can you explain by way of a concrete example how to evaluate such kind of derivatives? Is there any relationship between such kind of Lie Derivatives and the other kinds of derivatives? Is there any geometrical or physical significance for such kind of derivatives?
