Remember differentiating a constant = 0.
Also remember log(A/B)=logA-logB
|

Are you sure the last equation is ? I think you mean . Remember that log 2 is a constant.
Also, this should be posted in High School Maths.

No, since “x/a” is dependent of x, so you should pick the constant 1/a out.
d/dx (x/a) = (1/a) dx/dx = 1/a
